WRITER / DIRECTOR

 

Matthew James Thompson is an American filmmaker from Providence, RI. His work has won awards at festivals around the world from his short film "August Heat" which premiered at the Oscar-Qualifying Rhode Island Film Festival and received the “Directorial Discovery” award as well as “Best of the Fest” at the HP Lovecraft festival in LA. To his film "the american city" about decaying inner-city infrastructure received a Vimeo Staff Pick and a special invitation to be featured at the London Lift Off Film Festival. His film "Write" is a meditation on memory and was acquired by Field Notes notebooks, winning awards at Hatch, IAC, Addys, and was featured in the Lurzer’s archive, Forbes and Adweek. He was commissioned by Future of Storytelling to make a film starring the magician & performer Derek DelGaudio, the film received a Vimeo Staff Pick and went on to be one of the highest viewer films FoST has made to date.

PRODUCER

Dan Kennedy is a producer and cinematographer with a rich narrative filmmaking background and extensive commercial experience. His film, Honeydew, starring Sawyer Spielberg and Lena Dunham premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2021 and he is currently in post production on Merry Good Enough, starring Joel Murray, Neil Casey and Raye Levine. PRODUCER

Jamieson Shea is a producer and consultant for film and television. With production credits beginning in the late 1990's, he earned his first network Producer credit with MTV Networks/Viacom in 2004. Jamieson would ultimately shift his focus to feature films and scripted series, notably working as technical advisor for JJ Abrams’ CASTLE ROCK (Hulu) and THE SOCIETY (Netflix).

His experience was pivotal in assisting major productions with returning to work safely in 2020. Dozens of high profile projects including DON'T LOOK UP! (Netflix) and I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY (Sony/Tristar) called upon him to develop and organize Health & Safety operations. In 2022, Jamieson completed production on the feature films ANOTHER HAPPY DAY (Lauren Lapkus, Carrie Coon) and MERRY GOOD ENOUGH as Co-Executive Producer and Producer, respectively. As Producer, he is currently developing a dramatic series for television, based on the Irish Famine. He is also the founder of Owl Tree Productions

Krista Minto is an ex-pro athlete turned entrepreneur, she served as Founder and Principal of a boutique marketing consultancy in Manhattan for nearly a decade, where she managed media production and strategic branding for Forbes and Barron’s top-ranked private companies. After selling her business in 2020, Krista seamlessly transitioned into the entertainment space, successfully producing four feature films: The Wound Wood, Merry Good Enough, Quarter, and most recently, Christmas Eve In Miller’s Point, starring Michael Cera.
